What is it all about?

The Amiga Mod Team is a list of people who create music-modules on the amiga and swap them around to improve the tunes.

Evolving Modules is the keyword!

You receive a mod, change a little bit (or do nothing with it) and then send it further to the next person until a new mod is finished.

All mods should be released on this homepage.
We could vote for the best ones and make up some charts.
So everyone who has just fun in creating some mods on the amiga may join to see what difference a team makes :)
Noone is forced to do anything. Just edit the mods that you like to work on.

Look at the example to see how it may go:

Example:

1. Jim creates a short little mod with one pattern and 3 instruments
1. Jim sends this little module to John by email

2. John receives the mod and listens to it
2. John adds some more patterns and changes the bassline
2. John packs Jims and his version together in a lha-archive
2. John sends this archive to James

3. James has no time
3. James sends the archive to Jeremy

4. Jeremy adds new instruments and changes some melodies
4. Jeremy packs all 3 versions (Jims, Johns and his in a lha-archive)
4. Jeremy sends the archive to Jack

5. Jack adds two more patterns
5. Jack thinks its enough
5. Jack sends the archive to the AmigaModTeamHomepageMaintainer

6. All 4 versions of the mod are put on the Homepage for download

Come on, join the team!

All you need is email, an amiga and some tracker or musiceditor. Most common are Protracker, THX, MED, OctaMED, DigiBooster.

So if you want to join send me an email! (please tell me what formats or trackers you work with)

Then either you start a new mod on your own (create one or pick up an unfinished mod from somewhere) and send it to a random member of the team or you wait until you receive email from another team-member.

If you receive a mod in a format that you cannot work with then just send it further down the line. Noone is forced to do anything. Just edit the mods that you like to work on.
